Dr. Singh is one of Nepal’s leading young Neurosurgeons, with a dedicated focus on Neuro-Oncology and Spine Surgery. With over seven years of specialized practice, he has successfully performed more than 1,000 cranial and spinal surgeries, achieving excellent outcomes and earning recognition for his surgical expertise. He completed his fellowship training at the prestigious Hiroshima University, Japan, and has presented his work at numerous international platforms, including conferences in the United States, Japan, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Myanmar. In Nepal, Dr. Singh has served in several renowned institutions such as Norvic International Hospital, B & B Hospital, Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital, and Star Hospital, where he also worked as the Head of Department. Along with his strong clinical background, Dr. Singh has a solid academic foundation. He has contributed extensively to neurosurgical literature and served as an editor of the Nepal Journal of Neuroscience, supporting the growth of academic neurosurgery in the country. His vision extends beyond the operating room—he aims to establish a comprehensive multidisciplinary oncology and neuro-oncology department under one roof in Nepal. Additionally, he is a strong advocate for universal health insurance, aspiring to minimize out-of-pocket expenses and improve equitable access to healthcare for all citizens of Nepal. Dr. Singh has authored and co-authored numerous scientific articles published in national and international journals. He is also an active member of several professional organizations, including Life Membership of NESON (Nepalese Society of Neurosurgeons), Executive Membership of the Surgical Oncology Society of Nepal (SOSN), Executive Membership of the Spine Chapter of NESON, Executive Membership of the Nepal Epilepsy Society (NES), as well as memberships in AO Spine and the European Association of Neuro-Oncology (EANO). Through his surgical expertise, academic contributions, and visionary outlook, Dr. Singh continues to play a leading role in advancing neuro-oncology and spine surgery in Nepal.
